Auto Downloads activated on Union Pacific Central Region

As information, I will be issuing an IDS message today for all Operating employees. The message will inform the employees that on Monday, June 28, 2004, we will turn on the Auto Scan Program for the Central Region. This program scans our wireless download sites once every 24 hours, searching the downloads for specific exceptions. We have the ability to scan for exceptions such as, but not limited to, brake pipe continuity, improper use of independent brake, heavy reductions, front to rear no-comm, power braking, engineer induced emergency, alerter penalty brake application, improper use of dynamic brakes, etc. The purpose of this program is to help the MOPs manage with data (downloads), and to correct improper train handling behavior.

I think this is a great idea where you can seperate certain location from all involved in the general comittee , if their is anything I or we as a division can do to help you simplify things within the G.C.A. don't hesitate to let us know , Yourself and all involved are doing a great job to make things easier for us all to relate to , We appreciate it very much .
